Demolition services in Hidden Hills

DemolitionCA helps Hidden Hills property owners and builders define removals with attention to retained structures and site organization. A garage, an interior strip-out and a concrete removal need different plans, even when they support the same future renovation.

Identify the correct demolition scope

Garage demolition should distinguish the building from its slab and footings. Interior work needs a clear boundary around finishes and structure. Kitchen and bathroom removals should identify fixture disconnections and the condition required by the next trade.

State which landscape features, walls, paving and buildings remain. If an owner wants an item salvaged, record that before the method is chosen; recovery cannot be promised solely from a photograph.

Bring the project information together

  • Current plans and the removals highlighted.
  • Known utility routes and the parties responsible for disconnection.
  • Site and access photos, including proposed staging.
  • Relevant City approvals and association conditions.

Prepare for Hidden Hills site requirements

The City publishes construction and demolition maintenance standards covering matters such as container locations, dust and work during red-flag conditions. Determine which provisions apply to the scope before setting a start date; some demolition preparation involves notices or specialist documentation.

The demolition contract should not imply that a container can be placed anywhere or that regulated material work is included. Confirm the site arrangement and required clearances before disturbance.

Leave a defined next step

Agree on the exposed condition, cleanup and documentation the builder needs. Removing a garage does not itself approve a new structure, and removing a surface does not include reconstructing it unless specified.

DemolitionCA is the demolition division of Coastline DC Inc., established in 2002 under CSLB #813394. Availability is Sunday-Friday, closed Saturday. Applicable onsite restrictions take precedence, while access, material type, retained features and approvals influence cost and timing.

Questions about your project

Can the garage slab remain?

It can be considered separately, but suitability for future construction needs its own assessment.

Are City site controls part of preparation?

Yes. Identify applicable controls and responsibilities before choosing staging and work dates.

Does the proposal include hazardous-material abatement?

Not automatically. Required evaluation or abatement must be separately identified and appropriately arranged.
